Welcome Mia Cooper to the Project! We have now 2 Mia but they couldn’t be more different from one another! Mia Rudic from Serbia has long dark hair, dark skin whereas Mia Cooper here from Australia has long blond hair and fair white skin with freckles.
From the Bayerisches Staatsballet official page: Mia Cooper was born in Queensland / Australia, where she started dancing at the local Ballet School. Then she was trained at the Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung in Munich, where she received her diploma in 2008. She joined the Bavarian State Ballet as a trainee in the season 2008/2009 and joined the Corps de ballet one year later.
Fun fact was that Mia, unlike many other ballerinas, didn’t start dancing at a very young age. She grew up in Australia swimming and playing tennis before she discovered ballet at a much later age. She the moved to Europe to perfect her education as a dancer and pursue a career as a professional ballerina.
